Agora’s story began in 2015 at the University of Rochester, New York, where a small group of students from diverse academic backgrounds founded a peer-to-peer tutoring initiative called PrepPals.

Our mission was simple: to make education more personal, accessible, and affordable — a community where learners could help one another and discover their intellectual voice.

Over the years, our network expanded from North America to Europe, CIS regions, and the Middle East, helping thousands of students secure admissions to top universities and thrive in cross-cultural academic environments.

We now operate in the UAE as a KHDA-approved training and testing center, combining state-of-the-art mentorship and strategy under one roof—Agora Education Group.

Our approach bridges testing, technology, and mobility, empowering students to navigate seamlessly between systems. At our core, we remain what we were in 2015: a community built on collaboration, curiosity, and the belief that learning will open doors.
